The special version of the jersey was launched in FC Lorient. The new jersey is based on the tattoos of three club players and fans from the club. Look carefully, many tattoos reflect the characteristics of marine culture. Lorient is a seaport city in western France. It was also an important naval military base. Its name comes from the 17th century "Oriental Sunshine" cruise ship. "Lorient" means "Oriental" in French.
For fans, tattoos are the ultimate expression of their love for the club. Each tattoo represents a past and unforgettable moment, and then explores the personal story and exclusive memory behind the tattoos of fans from all over the world.
Enzo Leffe, Stephen Diarra and Igor Silva from Lorient Football Club shared some of their most important tattoos at the beginning of the event. About 80 club fans then submitted their stories and tattoos with the club. Finally, 15 tattoo patterns were carefully selected and incorporated into this special edition jersey to honor the club's identity.
